Jack McManus has broken his silence since it was announced that he had ended his relationship with Love Actually and EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon.

The actress, 48, took to Instagram on Thursday, 22 August to confirm that after 18 years, Jack had decided to end their marriage, sharing the news in a lengthy and heartfelt statement.

Martine expressed her acceptance of Jack's decision to part ways but assured they would continue to co-parent their son, Rafferty, nine.

She also wished Jack "all the love, luck and happiness," as he embarks on his new journey as a single man. However, Jack has now responded and broken his silence following news of their split.
