Manchester United are 'continuing to monitor' highly-rated RB Leipzig centre-back Castello Lukeba. That is according to a report by German publication Bild, which claims United have recently watched him 'again and again'.
The Reds are poised to make signing a new central defender one of their leading transfer priorities in 2024. The club, despite adding Lisandro Martinez and Jonny Evans to their pool of centre-backs since Erik ten Hag took over as manager in the summer of 2022, need to think about planning for the long term in the heart of their defence.
