Shocking figures have revealed a startling trend in Manchester’s battle against-fly tipping. Manchester has emerged as a hotspot for illegal dumping of white goods, according to government figures released by DEFRA (the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).
The statistics reveal that, across England, there were more than one million (1,082,673) reported fly tipping incidents in the year ending March 2023, including 50,091 cases including the illegal disposal of white goods.

In a bid to promote recycling and raise awareness about the environmental impact of fly-tipping, AO Recycling has donated a bench planter made from plastic recycled at their facility in Telford - to Ladybarn Park in Withington.
