Radamel Falcao turned down offers from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City to sign for Manchester United in 2014. According to the Colombian's father, Falcao chose the Red Devils over a host of other Deadline Day options because they are considered the most important club in England.
The striker first rose to prominence at Porto before making a splash in Spain with Atletico Madrid in 2011, where he quickly became one of Europe's most lethal strikers.
His trophy haul includes back-to-back Europa League titles in 2011 and 2012, as well as the 2012 UEFA Super Cup, where his team triumphed over Chelsea.
Following a stint with Monaco and a recovery from a serious knee injury, Falcao was ready for a new challenge in the summer of 2014.
