A man who is accused of acting as a spotter in the ambush and gunpoint robbery of former world champion boxer Amir Khan has told a jury that is 'completely wrong'.

The Olympic silver medallist from Bolton was targeted £70,000 bespoke rose gold diamond-encrusted Franck Muller watch as he and his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, 31, left a restaurant in east London on April 18 last year.

Mr Khan, 36, was ambushed at gunpoint by Dante Campbell, 20, and forced to handover the watch Snaresbrook Crown Court has heard during a trial.

Campbell and Ahmed Bana, 25, who drove the robbers to and from the scene in a silver Mercedes coupe, have admitted their roles in the plot.
