This 2023 World Cup call marks a first for the 23-year-old who is looking forward to the football, of course, but also to experience what Australia and New Zealand have to offer, off the pitch.
Instantly she blurted out: “Oh, the coffee” before I’d even finished the question. Roebuck enjoys an 'Americano with a little bit of hot oat milk on the top.' Smiling, she continued, “Apparently the coffee is super good in Australia.
A few of my [club] teammates are from Australia, so they’ve sent me good recommendations - I’m excited to carry that out but also just being by the beach, by the sea is something new so that’s always nice.” Roebuck joins club teammates Laura Coombs and Esme Morgan in their inaugural World Cup appearances, backed by European winners Alex Greenwood, Chloe Kelly and Lauren Hemp.
