Love Island winner Sanam Harrinanan has defended herself after being labelled 'rude' for refusing to take a picture with a fan.

Sanam, who won the winter edition of 2023 Love Island, declined to take a picture with a fan after being approached while she was trying to eat.

But after the person decided to privately message the 25-year-old to call her out for being 'rude', Sanam decided to screenshot the message and respond to it publicly on her Instagram story.The frustrated fan messaged: "So rude not taking a picture in China Town - calm down love you're not Tommy and Molly." Sanam hit back, as she penned the response: "Are you the person that came up to us whilst we were eating our food?

Because I only turned one person down because of that, so I'm assuming it's you?" She then screenshotted the conversation, posting the caption: "One thing about me… I will always happily take a picture with whoever asks because I wouldn't be here without you guys, but I will always say no if I am approached while I am sat down at a table eating food and in mid-conversation. "I find it rude and invasive at that point.There's a time and a place, and it's not while I'm sat with someone eating a meal and enjoying someone else's presence." It comes as Kai and Sanam recently sparked engagement rumours after Kai shared a picture of the brunette beauty flashing a sparkly ring on her wedding finger.
