Chris, who is now a well-known sports presenter in The Hundred cricket competition, made a comparison between the female cricketing star and Barbie because of her blue eyes.The incident happened while pitch side at The Hundred on Wednesday after the Australian all-rounder Maitlan Brown's Southern Brave team beat Trent Rockets.
The 26-year-old cricketing star was revealing that her team had been to see the recent box office hit Barbie as a team and said: "It was really good team bonding and the group is gelling really well together." But Chris has been slammed for his response as he said: "You’re a little Barbie yourself with your blue eyes." He then followed this up by saying "she’s blushing now." Chris Hughes rose to fame after appearing on the third series of the hit ITV show Love Island in 2017 but since leaving the villa he has moved into sports broadcasting.
He came third in the hit show after entering the villa on day six. After first being coupled up with Chloe Crowhurst, Chris soon fell for Olivia Attwood and the pair stayed together until the final when they came in third place.
