Thomas is also is the co-creator of the original series, How I Met Your Mother, which aired on CBS for 9 seasons. Its spin-off lasted two seasons on Hulu, with Hilary Duff in the lead. “Sometimes this is how it goes in this crazy business,” Thomas said in his post after his thank-yous.
