Love Island runners-up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have sadly decided to call it quits and break up, according to reports. The duo had a rocky journey on the winter edition of the ITV2 show earlier this year, with Ron, 25, repeatedly saying he needed to be "tested" and explore his options with the new bombshells in the villa.
But despite that, the pair grew closer and closer and eventually went on to become one of the show's fan-favourite couples. Sadly, with the pair living so far apart - Ron is based in Essex while Lana lives in Manchester - it seems the duo's love story wasn't meant to be.
A source told the MailOnline: "Lana and Ron really put everything into their romance and have tried to make things work for some time now. “Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, which is a decision they have made amicably and of course, they still remain good friends.” OK!
has contacted representatives for Ron and Lana for comment. The source went on to tell the publication that despite trying everything they could to make things work in the relationship, including constant travel back and forth for date nights and nights in, it was too exhausting for the couple to continue. They said that the Manchester to Essex commute was just "too difficult" to spend a day or two together.
