NHS Lanarkshire officials led a visit to the new Monklands Hospital site as they updated local politicians on the latest with the £400 million new-build project.Airdrie & Shotts representatives Neil Gray MSP and Anum Qaisar MP joined fellow elected members including Richard Leonard and Graham Simpson, the Central Scotland MSPs, for the trip to the Wester Moffat site.It is to be transformed with the construction of a state-of-the-art new hospital – incorporating digital technology and making use of its woodland setting – set to open around 2028.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
