ok.co.ukLee Mack may be famous for his television lies, but he’s telling the truth when he says he and his wife met before he was famous, even though she’s so good looking people don’t believe him.
The comedian and his wife, Tara, met back in university, and they married in 2005, two years before the premiere of Lee’s hit BBC show Would I Lie To You.They have three children together: Arlie, Louie and Millie.
During a podcast appearance in 2021 the 55 year old admitted that the sister of fellow comedian Roisin Conaty said: “I assume you two have been together after you became a comedian and a bit of money.” Lee told her that they’d met at university, and, according to Lee, Roisin’s sister was in such disbelief she then asked: “Did you save her life or something?” Lee will be out from behind his panel booth and onto the pitch again this year to play in Soccer Aid for UNICEF, a charity match taking place at Wembley and live on ITV1 at 6.00pm on June 9.
Founded in 2006 by Robbie Williams, Soccer Aid aims to raise money for children around the world affected by conflict, malnutrition, disease and difficulties accessing education.
