Laura Anderson has opened up about her split from Gary Lucy, admitting that his announcement of their split back in 2023 felt like 'an attack' on her.The former Love Island star shares daughter Bonnie, one, with the actor, who she met on Celebs Go Dating in 2022 and began a relationship with shortly after. The couple had split before welcoming their daughter in September, but vowed to co-parent together - something which Laura slammed the soap star for this week.

Now, Laura has spoken out about how Gary announced their split, claiming that she wasn't aware he was going to take it public.

Speaking to Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton on Made By Mammas: The Podcast, she said: "We broke up for a reason. He made it public without telling me he was going to tell everyone that we weren't together the same day we were going to announce that I was pregnant. "Even though we weren't technically together I was hoping we would work it out but as soon as he put it out into the public it felt like an attack and like we're not going to work this out, its now public and he did that the day we were going to announce I was pregnant. "So what should have been a magical time and behind the scenes might have been a little bit difficult it then turned into a media circus of negativity." Continuing that she and the soap star 'technically' did plan to have Bonnie, but the experience of being pregnant was dampened as she didn't have her partner there for it.

These revelations comes just days after Laura claimed Gary has only seen Bonnie once this year. The Scotland native couldn't help but react after Gary posted a clip of himself with Bonnie on Instagram.
