A hotel in Blackpool which closed following the death of a 10 year-old boy has re-opened. Jack Piper-Sheach died following an incident at Tiffany's Hotel on the Promenade of the town's North Shore on September 3.
He was found unresponsive in the reception area of the building. An inquest hearing has been told he died as 'as a result of electrocution'.
The hotel closed voluntarily following the incident, with bosses working alongside Blackpool council while health and safety officers carry out an investigation. Blackpool council confirmed the hotel is free to begin trading again. A spokesperson said: “Health and safety officers visited Tiffany’s Hotel on Friday, November 10 to ensure that specified works had been undertaken.
