Lanarkshire surgeon given incurable cancer diagnosis after noticing foot pain

A Lanarkshire surgeon who was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer is urging men to get tested for the disease. Gareth Jones, from Cambuslang, was diagnosed in June 2021 with an advanced form of the cancer and faced a struggle to maintain his health - both physical and emotional - to the best of his ability as he received palliative care.

Now the fitness fanatic has told Glasgow Live of his diagnosis, and the impact it has had on him. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
