Lanarkshire sub-postmaster recognised in parliament for “selfless and generous character”

A Lanarkshire sub-postmaster and shopkeeper has been recognised in parliament for her “selfless and generous character.” Motherwell and Wishaw MP Marion Fellows tabled an Early Day Motion in Westminster that celebrated Selina Rashid’s achievements, including being the recipient of the Wishaw Press’ Say It with Flowers Award.

Ms Fellows presented a print-out and framed copy of the motion outside Ms Rashid’s Post Office and minimarket in New Stevenston.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
