Lanarkshire senior citizens' group hold coronation afternoon tea thanks to Asda Foundation funding

A Lanarkshire group enjoyed a right royal knees-up as they celebrated King Charles III's coronation. The senior citizens' club at Coatbridge's Charlotte Toal Community Centre held an afternoon tea hosted by Ann Binks.

Ann, community champion at Asda Coatbridge, was able to put the event together thanks to a £400 donation from the Asda Foundation.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Ann Binks told Lanarkshire Live : "It was a privilege to attend. A great day was had by everyone who came along.
