Airdrie foodbank is urgently seeking new warehouse premises to store the vital donations which it distributes to local residents in need.The Lanarkshire charity has had to vacate its previous storage base, and is now asking local property owners for help in finding a new location to continue its “lifeline” work.Volunteers have told how demand for their services is continually increasing amid the cost of living crisis; and they are being supported by local MP Anum Qaisar in their urgent search for a new stock room space.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
