Fourteen of Lanark Amateur Swimming Club’s youngsters competed at the East Kilbride ASC Graded Meet last week and all of those taking part managed to post at least one personal best time in the process.Blair Beverley and Caitriona Dunlop won ‘Swam Too Fast’ medals and there were gold medals for Olivia Taylor, Scot McGilviray (2) and Charlotte Small.Silver medallists were Sarah Purdon, Amelia Wilson and Ethan Devlin, while competitors Kallie Thomson and Ethan McQuigg won bronze.All the medallists recorded best ever times, as did their club mates Morven Duncan, Rebecca Lloyd, Freya Adams and Alison Carswell.Coach Karen Kelly said: “Thanks as always to Derek and his team at East Kilbride for running these graded meets.“The swimmers can be proud of their performances.”The club return to East Kilbride’s Dollan Aqua Centre on April 22 for the long course graded meet.Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
