Labour suspends ANOTHER candidate after alleged 'f****** Israel' comments
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA former Labour MP has reportedly been suspended from the party after another recording emerged from what is said to be the same meeting where the party's candidate in the Rochdale by-election made 'deeply offensive' comments about Israel.
Graham Jones, who is Labour's candidate in Hyndburn, has been administratively suspended from the party pending an investigation, the PA news agency says.
It comes after the website Guido Fawkes claimed that he used the words “f****** Israel” at what appears to be the same meeting that led to the withdrawal of support for Rochdale candidate Azhar Ali.
An audio recording also appears to show the former MP who lost his seat in 2019 allegedly suggesting that British people who volunteer to fight with the Israeli Defence Forces should be “locked up”.
