Kym Marsh says 'can't bear it' as she's supported over heartbreaking update
manchestereveningnews.co.ukKym Marsh has been flooded with supportive messages as she shared a 'first' since the loss of her dad. The Waterloo Road star's family issued a statement in January confirming David Marsh's death, aged 78.
The tragic news came after David, known as Dave, shared his prostrate cancer journey. He made multiple appearances with his daughter and doting wife Pauline on Morning Live, on which Kym is one of the co-hosts, after he wanted to make others aware of the symptoms and to seek medical help following his prostate cancer diagnosis in 2021.
In November 2023, Kym's parents appeared on the BBC One morning programme to provide an update with Kym, 47, saying they were living "day by day" as her father’s cancer had spread into his bones.
Kym and her family then confirmed on January 12 confirming Dave's death before later laying him to rest in a private funeral.
