Kendall Jenner candidly opened up about the challenges of her career and life in the spotlight. The 28-year-old model recently sat down for an interview on the Anything Goes podcast.

During it, she spoke to host Emma Chamberlain about some of the dark side of the modeling industry and the pressure that she faces.

While Kendall added that she was “extremely fortunate,” she made it clear that there were challenges that she faced, revealing that she’s even had nights where she’s “just hysterically crying” herself to sleep. I think I’ve been extremely fortunate,” Kendall said on the podcast, via People. “But I also have had my own set of challenges, whether it’s [being] overworked or not getting a job that I would’ve really loved to get.” She added that the industry can feel “very lonely,” noting that it can keep her far away from home for long stretches of time. Kendall said that she’s missed “something really crazy” happening at home, which she’s unable to be present for. “I’ve had really dark nights where I’ve been in random cities and just hysterically crying myself to sleep because I haven’t been home in three months and I’ve been pretty much alone the entire time,” she said. Kendall continued, admitting, “There’s been a lot of definite moments where I’m like, ‘What is going on, is this all worth it?’” Despite that, she made it clear that she recognized the positives of her career, calling it “a beautiful thing to be able to travel the world the way I have.” “I probably would’ve never traveled the way I have or the amount that I have had I not had this job.
