A Scots swindler boasted that her career was built on "authenticity and integrity" while stealing £85,000 from a charity foundation set up in the memory of her friend's daughter.

Lindsay MacCallum, 61, bragged about being a "role model" just months before she owned up to embezzling cash from the trust.

The crooked mum-of-two, from Aberfoyle in Stirlingshire, pled guilty to fraud last Tuesday and is currently behind bars waiting to be sentenced.As reported by the Sun, she was nailed after confessing to Rainbow Valley co-founder Angela MacVicar in August 2022 that she’d stolen donations.
