Jurors have retired to consider their verdicts in the Thomas Campbell murder trial. Mr Campbell, 38, was 'tortured to death' in his own home after being subjected to a two hour ordeal, during which he suffered 61 separate injuries, the jury has heard.

Three people, including his ex-wife Coleen Campbell, are accused of murder. Beautician Ms Campbell, 38, Stephen Cleworth, also 38, and Reece Steven, 29, have all pleaded not guilty.

The trial at Bolton Crown Court has heard that his home in Mossley, Tameside, was 'ransacked' during the attack late on Saturday, July 2 last year.
