Jay Slater's loved ones were given some heartbreaking advice after a post-mortem examination was carried out on the teen, according to reports.
The 19-year-old's body was found in a remote ravine in Tenerife, close to where his phone last pinged. Jay, an apprentice bricklayer, disappeared after attending a music festival with friends on the island.
He never made it back to his hotel and it is believed he died instantly following 'a fall or plunge' in the unforgiving terrain.
Jay's grieving mother, Debbie Duncan, was reportedly given a harrowing warning after the results of her son's autopsy.
