Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

ITV axe British Soap Awards with no explanation in shock move

ITV have announced that the 2024 British Soap Awards have been axed.Channel bosses have not given an explanation as to why the decision has been made.Almost three million viewers tuned into this year's award ceremony that celebrated soap's biggest achievements across the channels.A spokesperson for ITV told The Mirror: "The British Soap Awards won't be on air in 2024 but is set to return in 2025.

The show was fantastically received in 2023, achieving consolidated figures of 2.9 million and doubling its audience year on year, so we look forward to the show's return."This year Jane McDonald took over presenting duties from Phillip Schofield after he quit all contracts with ITV.

The show faced much speculation over who would take over presenting duties after his abrupt exit from the channel earlier this year.Stars from the nation's most loved soaps including Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks all gather for the event.
