An incredible house which has been transformed from a World War II bunker has now been put on the market for the first time.

The 'one of a kind' three-bed property on the Island of Guernsey was once a former German WWII bunker, dating back to the occupation of the Channel Islands by the Nazis.

Built in 1942 by Germans occupying forces as a coastal defence, the concrete shelter once housed up to 12 soldiers who were stationed to defend against potential attacks by Allied forces.

Years later, it has now been carefully and thoughtfully renovated into a stylish glass-fronted home named Six Eighty One, and is perfect for history buffs looking to live in their very own piece of the Islands' deep and rich history.
