Leo Barraclough International Features Editor “Nessie Junior,” the first development project from recently formed sales agency Epsilon Film, is set to make waves as an animated movie project highlight at the AFM with pre-sales kicking off in November in Las Vegas. “Nessie Junior” is a high-end CGI-animated movie based on the tale of the Loch Ness Monster, the mythical creature that has enchanted sightseers in the Scottish Highlands ever since it was first, allegedly, spotted.
The beautiful lake of Loch Ness, overlooked by the ruins of Urquhart Castle, has become a highly popular holiday destination.
The film features local fisherman, Mylo, who claims to have been attacked by the creature, and who runs a Loch Ness Monster tourist show on the banks of the loch.
His teenage daughter, Kellina, doesn’t believe his stories, nor does she believe in any of the myths of Loch Ness … but that all changes when she meets an actual, young Nessie named Fin. “And so begins a tale of friendship and caution, loyalty and betrayal, fun and breathtaking adventure as the pair team up to uncover the sea creature’s family secrets hidden in the water’s depths,” Epsilon says in a statement.
