manchestereveningnews.co.ukA woman stole £18,000 from her step-dad as he was in hospital - then spent it on hundreds of Amazon parcels. Stacey Smith, 27, had gone into her unsuspecting victim's flat with her younger brother and taken his card.
Smith went on to create fake Amazon accounts and made 241 orders using his card, getting them delivered to her address in Middleton.
She ordered a number of items including an iPhone, a flat screen TV and a fridge freezer. The thefts took place over a period of 10 weeks, whilst the man was in hospital following a collapse.
