'I'm distraught and angry - why would anyone do such a vile thing to my baby's grave?'

A mum whose baby’s grave has been destroyed SIX times by “scum of the earth” vandals has spoken out about her heartbreak. Charlotte Hynes says her daughter Bonnie’s resting place has been damaged on multiple occasions since burying her in September 2021.

The latest incident, believed to have taken place between December 22 and December 23 at Gorton Cemetery, saw the fencing around her grave snapped, her fairy lights cut and her flowers torn and thrown around.

Previous vandalism saw Bonnie's cross kicked out the ground with a visible footprint, stomp marks on her soil and floral tributes ripped.

In total, Charlotte, who lives in the Hattersley area of Tameside, believes the grave has been damaged six times. Speaking on the moment she saw the latest attack, she told the Manchester Evening News: “I was distraught and angry.
