Previous I'm A Celebrity contestant Fatima Whitbread, a retired British and Olympic javelin thrower, has revealed her emotional connection to South Africa as she prepares for the new I'm A Celeb series.The star, 62, appeared on the 11th series of the show in 2011 where she finished in third place.
She's now excited to prove to viewers what she's made of as she makes her return to the show. But before entering the jungle, Fatima revealed her special connection to the country as South Africa holds a special place in her heart. “My son was born in South Africa,” she revealed. “My late husband worked there for ten years and it is a country close to my heart.
I am looking forward to going back. "All my family are so excited that I am taking part in this new series and I am a great supporter of Ant & Dec.They are two funny characters who always have you cracking up.

The sports hero most memorable moment from when she was last on the show 11 years ago was when she was chosen by the British public to take part in a trial that involved donning a clear plastic helmet which was slowly filled with various critters.
