With its dramatic storylines and stunning scenery in Summer Bay, perhaps it’s no surprise that the show is still going strong over three decades on.
And given that it’s been going for 34 years, Home and Away has seen plenty of incredible stars come and go - one of which is Tristan Bancks, known for his role as Tug O’Neale.
Between 1992 and 1994, Tristan was a familiar face on the soap and was selected from 200 people to secure the role. As Tug, Tristan was at the centre of several high profile storylines and covered topics including mental health and bullying.
