Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin has reunited with his on-screen mum Catherine O'Hara three decades after the iconic film landed on screens.

He appeared alongside his fiancée Brenda Song at a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.The 43-year-old received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, where he thanked his partner and actress Brenda for giving him “all my purpose” during the appearance honouring his four-decade career in acting.He said: "I feel such esteem from this whole thing" as he received his star in the category of Motion Pictures on Friday with guests including Paris Jackson, Catherine O’Hara, Natasha Lyonne, and his siblings Quinn and Rory.Catherine O'Hara also gave a speech at the ceremony as she reflected on the actor's journey, which started 33 years ago as Kevin McCallister, who was left behind (home alone) as their large family headed off on holiday.

She said: "Home Alone was, is and always will be a beloved global sensation... the reason families all over the world can't let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin."Catherine added that Macaulay gave a "perfect performance" as Kevin, adding: "I know you worked really hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do."The 69-year-old actress, who also starred in 1992 spin-off film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York alongside Macaulay, said the star brings his "sweet and twisted, yet totally relatable" sense of humour to every project he does.
