River City fans will finally see Andrew Campbell-Baxter cornered for his string of sickening sexual assault crimes in episodes to air on New Year as Lydia and Lenny Murdoch seek revenge.Andrew's sister Victoria has gone against her brother and leaked their secret hideaway to both Lydia and Lenny as he is forced to face the music, with his sibling fleeing the scene and taking the cash incentive with her.The Murdoch's feel justice needs to be served, but will they decide to spare Andrew and hand him over to the police?

Greg Powrie, who plays the role of Andrew Campbell-Baxter, teased what is to come for BBC viewers in the dramatic showdown. Discussing his character's role on the soap, Greg said: "Before I took the role on it was discussed how I might feel and how others would possibly feel about it."I've been extraordinarily fortunate because I have been surrounded by people so I have that huge support mechanism.

I am also fortunate enough to live in a fairly rural location - so I don't need to take any pelters from people on the street," he joked. He continued: "I think I am massively privileged to be part of the storyline because it's horribly pertinent alongside the sad reality and statistics we face today that a lot of men who have been involved in assaults like this walk away."To highlight the issue has been a major challenge for River City and the biggest compliment I can pay is they have never rushed it.

Not every victim of this horrible crime has a Lenny Murdoch to deal with things in their corner to provide closure."
