Gucci Mane has shared a new double album titled Breath of Fresh Air. Out today, the project comprises 24 tracks (12 on each disc) and features a cast of high-profile guests, from Lil Baby to Key Glock to J.
Cole to 21 Savage. Memphis legend Young Dolph, who was shot and killed at 36 in 2021, is featured (posthumously) on two tracks: “Thank Me” and “Pretty Girls.” Elsewhere, on disc one closer “Stomach Grumbling,” Gucci shouts out the Writers Guild of America, whose 148-day strike this summer ended late last month. “Writers on strike and I know why they did it / Hollywood moguls be paying ’em pennies / AI can’t write the song Gucci would write ’cause AI didn’t stay up all night in the trenches,” he raps in a show of solidarity.
