Loose Women star Denise Welch has hit out at the Strictly Come Dancing judges after they sent Adam Thomas and his professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk home.

Adam and Luba were the latest duo to be eliminated after they faced a competitive dance-off against Angela Rippon. Anton Du Beke called the dance-off one of the "closest" so far of the season, but despite this, all four judges still opted to save Angela and Kai Widdrington.

The decision to send home the Emmerdale actor didn't sit well with Denise, who was quick to take to Twitter to voice her opinion.

The 56-year-old ITV panelist didn't hold back as she posted on her Twitter page: "Adam should have won that dance-off!!! #StrictlyComeDancing." Many fans agreed with Denise, with one commenting: "Sorry, but everyone could see Adam performed much better in the dance-off.This feels so wrong." Another added: "I'm sorry, but Adam ate Angela up in the dance-off.
