Greater Manchester has been battered by yet another storm this evening as the region was hit by torrential rain, hail, thunder and lightening - all in the space of half an hour.

People across the city have reported roads becoming flooded and trees falling down in what has been described as 'end of the world weather.' And to add to the chaos, thousands of Manchester City fans have lined the streets of the city centre, eagerly awaiting the arrival of an open-top bus parading the treble-winning squad. But fans refused to let the crazy weather dampen their spirits as the parade got underway from outside Beetham Tower on Deansgate at around 7pm.

Meanwhile, rival Manchester United fans across the city took to social media to joke about the weather, after being beaten by City in the FA Cup final two weeks ago.
