Kate Garraway's Good Morning Britain's co-stars sent her an emotional message as they returned to air after it was revealed her husband was again fighting for his life.
Derek Draper, a former Labour lobbyist, contracted coronavirus in March 2020 and was taken to the hospital where he was put in an induced coma.
Kate has previously told how Covid 'wreaked havoc' on Derek's body and he spent just over a year in hospital before returning home in April 2021, where he has needed round-the-clock care ever since.
The presenter has recently shared how Derek was in hispital for planned treatment. However, reports suggested over the weekend that Derek was taken dangerously ill last Monday after suffering a 'massive heart attack', according to the Mirror.
