Gogglebox family The Malones have been flooded with messages of support after sharing their heartbreak over the death of one of their beloved family members.

Taking to social media, Julie and Tom Snr revealed their rottweiler Dave had passed. The couple are well known to fans of the hit Channel 4 show for appearing from their sofa in their Greater Manchester home with their children as well as their four-legged fur babies, including Dave has stolen the show of more than one occasion.

But Julie and Tom have taken to their joint Instagram to announce the sad news of Dave's death. Sharing a sweet video of their pet dog taking in the fresh air outside their home, they wrote: "RIP Dave xxx." They added: "We are all going to miss you so much."
