Jacob Elordi is opening up about why he’s not interested in starring in a superhero film and the reason behind he shot down an audition for Superman: Legacy.

In a recent interview, the Euphoria actor revealed that he received a proposal to test for the role of Clark Kent but turned it down immediately. “Well, they asked me to read for Superman,” he told GQ. “That was immediately, ‘No, thank you.’ That’s too much.

That’s too dark for me.” The role of Superman would ultimately go to David Corenswet who would be playing the Man of Steel in James Gunn’s take on the superhero.

Although Elordi grew up admiring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight, he doesn’t see himself in a superhero movie. “Not particularly, no.
