In the latest episode of Gogglebox, viewers were introduced to two new cast members, Elaine and Seb, marking their debut on the beloved Channel 4 show.

Elaine and Seb, a mother-and-son duo hailing from the Forest of Dean, took their place on the famous couch for the very first time.The audience wasted no time in expressing their approval, with one viewer taking to Twitter to say: "Liking them already, can't wait to see more of them on the show." Another enthusiastic fan welcomed them to the Gogglebox family, while one praised their performance, stating, "They're doing a grand job." During the episode, Elaine and Seb discussed his upcoming graduation and Elaine shared her thoughts on what she planned to wear for the big occasion.

Elaine and Seb's arrival followed the departure of Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig, who had been part of the show for a decade.

A statement released by Channel 4 and Studio Lambert last week, read: "After a brilliant and illustrious time on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have decided that now is the right time to explore life beyond the sofa and leave the show. "As one of the original Goggleboxers, Stephen has entertained the nation with his hilarious quips since the show first started in 2013, sharing his opinions on the best and biggest TV events of the last ten years. "We would like to thank him and Daniel for being utterly brilliant contributors to the show, and we wish them well with their future projects." Stephen also penned a statement, posting on Instagram: "After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox. "We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities.
