George Strait was forced to wrap up his show earlier than intended over the weekend. The 71-year-old country music legend was performing at Nissan Stadium with Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town on Saturday night (July 29) on Nashville, Tenn., when a second shelter-in-place order at the stadium due to bad weather caused the headlining performance to end early.
About an hour before the concert, Nissan Stadium issued a shelter-in-place warning for those already inside the stadium. The delay lasted nearly an hour but was called off shortly before 5:45 p.m., via WKRN.
