Real Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini insists his side must start taking their chances or Rangers will punish them next week in the Europa League after they came close to Cup humiliation.Rangers need a victory in Seville to win the group and need to at least match Sparta Prague's result against Aris Limassol to qualify for the next round.
While Rangers were winning against Hearts, Betis suffered a major scare against Spanish fourth-tier minnows Villanovense in the Copa del Rey when they needed two goals through Abde Ezzalzouli and Borja Iglesias in the final minute and in injury time to avoid a shock and win 2-1.And former Manchester City boss Pellegrini knows his side need to raise their game with two massive matches against his former club Real Madrid and Rangers coming up.
Pellegrini rued their wastefulness and it was similar for Philippe Clement after the Belgian watched his side pass up a string of gilt-edged chances in their 1-0 win over Hearts.
Pellegrini said: "If Villanovense had qualified, it would have been a fair result. They did very well. I understand the suffering of their captain and the coaching staff.
