The star is returning to screens tonight (August 13) for the second series of the Field of Dreams On Tour, which has been two years in the making after filming was postponed to allow Freddie to recover.
The series not only follows the 46-year-old taking his Preston cricket team to compete in India, but covers Freddie’s own battle back to full health following the near fatal crash that left him suffering with “nightmares and flashbacks” and “crying every two minutes”. The BBC later apologised and announced it had “rested” Top Gear for the foreseeable future. Freddie reached a settlement with the BBC last year, reportedly worth £9m.
