He was named in the side to face Portsmouth in what was only his third appearance since joining from Southampton and he was busier than he would have liked to have been against League One opposition.It was a narrow 1-0 win for the Premier League team thanks to Harry Kane's strike and Forster had to be on his game, most notably denying Reeco Hackett a spectacular equaliser from an acrobatic effort.
And Spurs, who are sponsored by the same car dealer as the SPFL, applauded the stop and his clean sheet with a Twitter post saying he "absolutely cinched it."
