Former Hollyoaks star rushed to hospital in Ibiza after being robbed

Former Hollyoaks actress Abi Phillips was rushed to hospital after she was robbed while on holiday in Ibiza. The Liberty Savage star posted a photo to her Instagram stories yesterday of her bandaged arm with a cannula inserted.

She said alongside the snap: “1 stolen phone and 18 hours in A&E later,” with an upside down emoji. Abi, 29, had previously shared an image of herself enjoying the night life of the Spanish island, as she stunned in a black and mesh top and denim shorts.

She captioned that pic: "Suing Ibiza for theft and attempted murder it was worth it though."Abi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer earlier this year, as writes the Mirror.

In her announcement to fans, she shared a series of selfies of her in a hospital gown and face mask. She said at the time: "So, I took these pictures before my scans and after my biopsy having a good old laugh about how ridiculously dressed up I looked in the hospital before a gig, not expecting for one moment to get the news that I did two weeks later."The star, who is also a singer, revealed she’d asked doctors to check two lumps in her neck but had been fobbed off and told there was nothing wrong with her.
