The band experienced the height of their success in the late 1980s with two albums that went platinum: ‘Once Bitten’ (1987) and ‘…Twice Shy’ (1989).Russell left the band in 1996, but returned in 2001.
In 2006, the band split into two groups: Great White and Jack Russell’s Great White. Russell fronted the latter until his official retirement last month.In 2003, Great White found themselves at the center of deadly controversy.
