First picture of 'lovely lassie' killed on Scots road as cops launch murder probe

A woman who was killed in a crash in Falkirk on Saturday evening has been named locally after police launched a murder probe.Amy-rose Wilson, 27, was found dead after officers were called to a two-vehicle crash on the B902 New Carron Road at around 6.10pm.

Amy-rose, who was driving a silver Vauxhall Vectra, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.Her death is being treated as suspicious and enquiries are currently ongoing, with detectives hunting for the occupants of a black Mercedes C-Class, containing a number of people, which fled the scene.

Shortly before the crash, the occupants of the Vauxhall and the Mercedes were involved in an altercation at an address in Foundry Street, Falkirk.This subsequently led to the Mercedes 'dangerously' pursuing the Vauxhall on New Carron Road - causing it to crash with the Volkswagen Tiguan.

Tributes to Amy-rose have since flooded in on social media from heartbroken loved ones, who have described her as a 'lovely lassie'.Vicky Dumighan said: “Oh Amy-rose Wilson my heart absolutely breaks for you and your family, such tragic news!
