The FBI franchise helped CBS hold on to its linear ratings crown for the second consecutive week. FBI, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted helped CBS average 5.68M viewers across primetime on Tuesday night, retaining 92% of its season premiere viewership from last week and helping the network win every half-hour on the night.
The strong showing for Dick Wolf’s franchise helped it beat ABC by 2M viewers, Fox by 3.7M viewers and NBC by 4M viewers. At 8pm, FBI averaged 6.95M viewers and was the top show of the night.
FBI: International averaged 5.3M viewers at 9pm and FBI: Most Wanted averaged 4.78M viewers. These numbers are the fast national ratings from Nielsen.
In terms of streaming, the company said that all three shows posted double digit gains from their second episodes last year.
