A farmer in Wales was found dead in the most horrific circumstances — just two hours after his family raised suspicions. Islwyn Owen, 67, of Gwynedd was reported missing by his loved ones around 8:49 p.m.
local time on September 4. It didn’t take long to find him — but it was not good news. First responders didn’t have to do much searching when they arrived at the farm where Owen was working.
The poor guy, who was working at Cefn Bodig near the city of Bala, was found by paramedics in a slurry. In case you’re not familiar with farming, a slurry is a pit used to store animal waste until workers can gather it later and use as fertilizer — so a big pit full of farm animal poop.
